Jackson made his presence known in Maize's 10-5 win
Brady Jackson turned in his biggest game of the season in Friday's second game, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also only allowed one walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than one walks allowed. On the season, Jackson has an ERA of .53 over 13.3 innings pitched.
Jackson and Maize will look to defend their home field in Tuesday's first game against Newton at 4:00 p.m. Maize is 9-1 against Newton going back to April of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
