Softball Recap: McLeod Find Success

After losing to Chapel Hill the last time they met, McLeod decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The McLeod Longhorns walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Chapel Hill Red Devils on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Longhorns.

McLeod's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Chapel Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, McLeod will host Gilmer at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Gilmer: 2.1, McLeod: 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Chapel Hill, they will challenge Linden-Kildare at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
