Volleyball Recap: West Point-Beemer Takes a Loss

West Point-Beemer lost against Clarkson/Leigh back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cadets fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1. The Cadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ellie Bruning paced West Point-Beemer's offense, picking up seven kills. Bruning got some help from Campbell Consbruck and her 19 assists. Finally, Bruning was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

West Point-Beemer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Clarkson/Leigh, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

West Point-Beemer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Lyons-Decatur Northeast on the 9th. As for Clarkson/Leigh, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Wisner-Pilger on the 9th.
