Christ the King is 9-1 against Pine Lake Prep since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Crusaders will venture away from home to square off against the Pride at 6:00 p.m. Pine Lake Prep took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Christ the King, who comes in off a win.

Christ the King is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing SouthLake Christian Academy: they outscored them in every quarter. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 50-25 win on Tuesday. The Crusaders pushed the score to 38-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles had little chance of recovering from.

Christ the King's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anna Haynes, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Haynes has been hot, having also posted two or more blocks the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Rosie Gorman, who posted 11 points in addition to seven boards and five steals.

Meanwhile, Pine Lake Prep was beaten by Cuthbertson 56-16 last Saturday.

The victory made it two in a row for Christ the King and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points over those games. As for Pine Lake Prep, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything came up roses for Christ the King against Pine Lake Prep in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 65-8 victory. In that matchup, the Crusaders amassed a halftime lead of 40-5, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
