Baseball Recap: Catholic Central Irish vs. West Liberty-Salem Tigers
Catholic Central extended their losing streak to five on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 3-5 in the process. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Liberty-Salem Tigers. If the Irish were looking for revenge after losing 16-2 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Catholic Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Strother, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.
