Westminster Christian is a perfect 5-0 against Palmetto since August of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will welcome the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Westminster Christian came up short against St. Thomas Aquinas and fell 3-1.

Westminster Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-16, 25-22, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Palmetto suffered their biggest loss since October 16, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Mater Lakes Academy.

Palmetto was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Mater Lakes Academy work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 27-25, 25-13.

Palmetto's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Westminster Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Westminster Christian took their victory against Palmetto when the teams last played back in September of 2022 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
