Baseball Recap: Becker Takes a Loss

Becker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 4-1 to the Delano Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Isaac Guck made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Becker's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Delano, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Becker will host Zimmerman at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Delano, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Mound-Westonka at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
