Volleyball Recap: Lynnwood Comes Up Short

Lynnwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on October 6th.

Lynnwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lynnwood will take on rival Mountlake Terrace at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Edmonds-Woodway is set to square off against their familiar foe Shorecrest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
