The White Oak Roughnecks will venture away from home to challenge the Liberty-Eylau Leopards at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 867 yards in their previous games.
White Oak took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 41-34 win over Sabine. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Roughnecks considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Jaxsen Ludlow produced another solid performance rushing for 178 yards and two TDs while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, and also throwing for 160 yards and a pair of touchdowns. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 107.9 rushing yards per game.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: White Oak was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 253 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
White Oak didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Levi Sipes and Tysen McClain.
Meanwhile, Liberty-Eylau lost to Atlanta on the road by a 33-19 margin on Friday. Despite 216 more yards than the Rabbits, the Leopards couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
White Oak will have to contain Arian Taylor as he made an impact in Liberty-Eylau's last game. He rushed for 169 yards and two scores. What's more, he's the contest marked his fourth straight with at least 115. Liberty-Eylau also got help from Kaiden Peacock, who showed off his sure hands for 105 receiving yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Liberty-Eylau and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for White Oak, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-2.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. White Oak has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 191.9 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Liberty-Eylau struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 177.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
White Oak took a serious blow against Liberty-Eylau when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 78-20. Can the Roughnecks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
