Basketball Game Preview: San Jon Coyotes vs. Floyd Broncos

San Jon is 2-8 against Floyd since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The San Jon Coyotes will host the Floyd Broncos at 6:30 p.m.

San Jon is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 24th straight game dating back to last season last Saturday. They were dealt a 68-2 loss at the hands of Grady. The Coyotes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-2.

Meanwhile, Floyd hadn't done well against Clovis Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Floyd enjoyed a cozy 44-26 victory over Clovis Christian. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

Floyd's win came from a few key players San Jon will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was David Melendez, who posted six points. Another player making a difference was Edwin Gallegos, who had six points.

Floyd has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season.
