Basketball Recap: Centennial Baptist Takes a Loss

Centennial Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Liberty Charter Patriots, falling 45-12. The match marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Leilani Malepeai was Centennial Baptist's leading scorer, having posted six points. Malepeai also led the team in rebounds with five.

Centennial Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Liberty Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
