The Evansville Central Bears entered their game against the Evansville Memorial Tigers last Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Evansville Central was dealt a 38-8 defeat at the hands of Evansville Memorial. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Evansville Central in their matchups with Evansville Memorial: they've now lost five in a row.
Luke Ellspermann was a one-man wrecking crew for Evansville Memorial as he rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 124 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Simon Schulz, who picked up 74 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
