Baseball Game Preview: Sharon Eagles vs. Attleboro Bombardiers

Sharon hasn't had much luck against Attleboro recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Bombardiers at 4:00 p.m. Attleboro took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Sharon, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Sharon turned things around against Wayland on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Warriors 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since May 13, 2024.

Meanwhile, Attleboro faced Taunton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bombardiers took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Bombardiers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Attleboro got a good showing from Tyler Dunlea, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Those zero earned runs gave Dunlea a new career-low.

Sharon's win bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Attleboro, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
