Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cloverleaf). They enjoyed a cozy 97-79 victory over the Black River Pirates on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Colts sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Despite the loss, Black River still got an impressive performance from Parker Broadsword, who posted 31 points. The dominant performance gave Broadsword a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Hunter Varney, who scored 17 points.

Cloverleaf is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points per game. As for Black River, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
