Recap: Red Mountain Mountain Lions vs. Mountain View Toros
Even though the Red Mountain Mountain Lions have not done well against the Mountain View Toros recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Red Mountain had just enough and edged Mountain View out 46-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Red Mountain.
Red Mountain's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gage Lindsey, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. Lindsey is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Jaxon Griffin was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Red Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for Mountain View, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.
Red Mountain will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Skyline at 7:00 p.m. Skyline is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Mountain View, they will head out on the road to square off against Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
