Soccer Game Preview: East Hamilton vs. Signal Mountain

The East Hamilton Hurricanes will head out to take on the Signal Mountain Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Hamilton's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

East Hamilton's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Rhea County 1-0. That's two games straight that East Hamilton have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Signal Mountain waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Patriots. The result was nothing new for Signal Mountain, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Signal Mountain's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four matchups. As for East Hamilton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6-1.
