Basketball Recap: Tyler Kuo's Big Game Can't Quite Lead BASIS - Scottsdale over Alta Vista

BASIS - Scottsdale was the 69-34 winner over Alta Vista when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The BASIS - Scottsdale Bulldogs took a 45-29 bruising from the Alta Vista Lobos on Tuesday.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyler Kuo, who posted 14 points. Colin Hastings was another key player, putting up four points and seven steals.

BASIS - Scottsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Alta Vista, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

BASIS - Scottsdale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-43 victory against Canyon State Academy on the 11th. As for Alta Vista, they will challenge BASIS - Ahwatukee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
