Softball Recap: El Cerrito Gauchos vs. Salesian College Preparatory Pride

El Cerrito lost to Salesian College Preparatory back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Gauchos took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pride.

Mia Martinez-Rojas was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Olive Calvin, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

El Cerrito's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Salesian College Preparatory, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2.
