Old Rochester Regional barely beat Bourne the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Canalmen on Monday. Considering the Bulldogs have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Old Rochester Regional and bumps their season record up to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Bourne, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Old Rochester Regional will take on Fairhaven at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bourne, they will square off against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
