Chilhowie is a perfect 10-0 against Northwood since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Chilhowie's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Northwood has been banged up by 15 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Chilhowie had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Honaker on Tuesday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 7-1 victory. Considering the Warriors have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Patrick Henry hit Northwood with a ten-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers lost 18-3 to the Rebels.

Northwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Chilhowie, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
