After a string of five wins, Hawley's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Cisco Loboes 62-31. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 582nd, while the Loboes are ranked 175th).

Hawley's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-11. As for Cisco, they pushed their record up to 24-3 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Hawley Bearcats duke it out with the Anson Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Cisco has already played their next match (against Albany), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
