Baseball Recap: Exeter Beats Blue Eye for Their Third Straight Win

While Exeter's victory against Blue Eye wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers beat the Bulldogs on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-8. With that win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

The victory (which was Exeter's third in a row) raised their record to 7-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Blue Eye, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5-1.

Exeter has already played their next contest (against Clever), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Blue Eye, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 18-3 victory against Bradleyville on the 21st.
