Basketball Recap: Bishop Neumann Snaps 12-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Bishop Neumann has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 67-60 to the Buena Vista Bison on Tuesday. The contest was a 26-26 toss-up at halftime, but the Cavaliers couldn't quite close it out.

Leading Buena Vista to victory were Brandon Jarmon and LC Doss. Jarmon went 9 of 16 en route to 25 points along with six rebounds and five steals, while Doss went 7 for 13 on his way to 25 points in addition to seven assists and five boards. The matchup was Doss' sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Bishop Neumann's loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-4. As for Buena Vista, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Bishop Neumann will square off against Concordia at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Concordia will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Bishop Neumann surely won't give up without a fight. As for Buena Vista, they will be playing at home against Bryan at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
