Recap: Suwannee Bulldogs vs. Dunnellon Tigers
After a string of three wins, the Suwannee Bulldogs's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 62-55 to Dunnellon. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Eli Nelson, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds for Dunnellon. The matchup was Nelson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chris Henry, who scored 16 points.
Suwannee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Dunnellon, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Suwannee will take on Hamilton County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Dunnellon and Trinity Catholic will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Trinity Catholic is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
