Baseball Recap: Hector Takes a Loss

Hector's last matchup with Danville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. Hector came up short against Danville, falling 8-1. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hector's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Danville, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.

Hector and Danville will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Hector sees the field they'll take on Jasper at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. As for Danville, their break will end when they face Subiaco Academy at 4:30 p.m. on April 1.
