Volleyball Recap: Chariho Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chariho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the La Salle Academy Rams. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rams from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Chariho was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-10.

Alexis Korus paced Chariho's offense, picking up seven kills. Korus were helped by Olivia Lowell and Abby Tiernan, who contributed seven assists each. Tiernan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Chariho's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Chariho will head out on the road to square off against Prout at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. La Salle Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Chargers' game: after the Chargers face off against Coventry, they'll take on La Salle Academy again at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th.
