Basketball Recap: Nanwalek Takes a Loss

Nanwalek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 32-16 bruising from the Birchwood Christian Warriors. If Nanwalek was looking for revenge after losing 34-29 to them when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Nanwalek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Birchwood Christian, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-11.

While Nanwalek had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
