Volleyball Recap: Sunny Hills Victorious

Sunny Hills proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Lakewood.

Sunny Hills had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 24-26, 25-19, 25-21, 15-9.

Sunny Hills is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Sunny Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Foothill on the 26th. As for Lakewood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Cabrillo on the 25th.
