Basketball Recap: Berwick Takes a Loss

Berwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Central Catholic Eagles, falling 81-34. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 67-35 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Berwick's defeat dropped their record down to 19-18. As for Central Catholic, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-18.

Berwick didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-25 victory against Grand Isle on the 11th. As for Central Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 70-38 win against Centerville on the 11th.
