While Bucktail's victory against Muncy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bucks narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Indians 12-11. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bucks considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Carrie Ditty spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and seven unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Kendall Wagner was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Makenna Stone was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one double.

Bucktail's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Muncy, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bucktail will square off against Lewisburg at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bucks are facing the Green Dragons at the right time seeing as the Green Dragons are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Muncy, they will take on Warrior Run at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
