Baseball Recap: West-Oak Comes Up Short

West-Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Seneca Bobcats. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2025.

West-Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Seneca, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West-Oak will take on Tallulah Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Seneca, they will square off against Crescent at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
