McGehee won against Hamburg on Monday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The McGehee Owls beat the Hamburg Lions by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The victory was just business as usual for the Owls, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

McGehee's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Hamburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McGehee will face off against Harmony Grove at 4:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Hamburg, they will venture away from home to challenge Parkers Chapel at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hamburg has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
