Softball Recap: Flintridge Prep Takes a Loss

After flying high against Westridge last Thursday, Flintridge Prep came back down to earth. The Wolves lost 11-4 to the Rio Hondo Prep Kares on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolves have suffered against the Kares since April 26, 2022.

Flintridge Prep now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Rio Hondo Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Flintridge Prep will square off against Mayfield at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cubs have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Rio Hondo Prep, they will challenge Westridge at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Kares are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
