Softball Recap: Fairfield Lions vs. West Union Dragons
In what's become a running theme this season, Fairfield gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the West Union Dragons a 22-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fairfield also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.
Caitlyn Quickle and Katelyn Chambliss were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Quickle tossed an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Chambliss kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched.
