Baseball Recap: Los Altos Conquerors vs. La Serna Lancers

Los Altos had lost five straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 5-15-1 to make it six. They lost 10-2 to the La Serna Lancers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Conquerors of the 9-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Los Altos saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Barrera, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

As for La Serna, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for their hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Coming up, Los Altos will head out to take on Alta Loma at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for La Serna, they will host Santa Fe at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
