Basketball Recap: Leflore's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Leflore's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 33-24 win over the Keota Lions. The victory was some much needed relief for the Savages as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Leflore's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Keota, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Leflore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 46-35 defeat against McCurtain on the 14th. As for Keota, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Keota Lions challenge the Canadian Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
