Softball Recap: Emery Spartans vs. South Summit Wildcats
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Emery had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the South Summit Wildcats. The victory was familiar territory for the Spartans, who have now won four games in a row.
Kallee Lake spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game.
