Tatum won the last time they faced Mexia and things went their way on Friday too. The Tatum Eagles managed a 79-74 victory over the Mexia Black Cats. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Tatum pushed their record up to 26-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 88.1 points over those games. As for Mexia, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-11.

Coming up, Tatum is taking a road trip to challenge Mineola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mexia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
