Those two RBI gave Davis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Angie ?Frankie? Aguilera, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.

Even though they lost, Santa Paula kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive games.

Channel Islands' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Santa Paula, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-8.
