Basketball Recap: Marysville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Chapman on Monday, Marysville came back down to earth. The Marysville Bulldogs fell 63-54 to the Concordia Panthers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Marysville now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Concordia, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marysville will host Rock Creek on Friday. Rock Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Marysville likes a good challenge. Concordia has already played their next game (against Wamego), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
