There's no place like home for Vaughn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Chavez Eagles on Friday as they made off with an 8-1 win. The White Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

Vaughn's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-11. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Chavez, they moved to 14-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Vaughn has already played their next game, a 17-0 victory against Reseda on the 3rd. As for Chavez, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 0-0 defeat against Serra on the 3rd.
