Red Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 59-45 to the Clinton Dark Horses. The Red Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dark Horses earlier this season, when they won 51-48.

Clinton can attribute much of their success to Henry Bass, who went 8 for 11 en route to 20 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Bass a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anyahs Butler, who posted 12 points and four steals.

Red Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Clinton, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 4-18.

Red Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-46 defeat against Midway on the 11th. As for Clinton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 83-63 loss against St. Pauls on the 11th.
