Softball Recap: Flat Rock Takes a Loss

Flat Rock lost against Allen Park on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 9-8. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sarah Giroux made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Mack, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Flat Rock now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Allen Park, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Flat Rock has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Grass Lake on the 4th. As for Allen Park, they will head out on the road to take on Taylor at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give the Jaguars their first taste of in-conference action this season.
