Jimtown falls despite strong effort from Dylan Fey

After a string of three wins, the Jimtown Jimmies's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 36-29 to Tippecanoe Valley. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jimtown has scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Jimtown lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dylan Fey. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points.

Tippecanoe Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Stephen Akase led the charge by scoring seven points along with 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Johnson, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Jimtown's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Jimtown will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Elkhart Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. Elkhart Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three matches. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge Western at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Western is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
