Basketball Game Preview: Classical Academy Caimans vs. Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks

Having just played yesterday, the Classical Academy Caimans will get right back to it and host the Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Escondido Adventist Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Classical Academy, who comes in off a win.

Classical Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Guajome Park Academy 73-34 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Classical Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Issac Chapman, who went 5 of 12 en route to 12 points. Another player making a difference was Lucas Chapman, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, Escondido Adventist Academy had to suffer through a 80-11 loss at the hands of Coastal Academy. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Classical Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-14 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.3 points. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Classical Academy skirted past Escondido Adventist Academy 46-43 when the teams last played back in January. Will Classical Academy repeat their success, or does Escondido Adventist Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
