If Wayne was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Green River on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Badgers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tintic Miners on Friday. The Badgers' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Chloe Stewart paced Wayne's offense, picking up seven kills. Stewart got some help from Timber Wood and her 15 assists. Finally, Stewart was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Tintic, their record is now 16-8.

Wayne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Monument Valley on the 17th. As for Tintic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Rowland Hall on the 17th.
