Soccer Game Preview: Hunter vs. West

The Hunter Wolverines will challenge the West Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

West will be up against a hot Hunter team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Wolverines never let West Jordan get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Tuesday. With that win, Hunter brought their scoring average up to 2.7 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting West Jordan from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West). They blew past Kearns 7-4 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what West needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Hunter's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for West, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
