Football Preview: Northgate Broncos vs. Alhambra Bulldogs
Northgate has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will venture away from home to square off against the Alhambra Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northgate pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Alhambra, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Northgate was able to grind out a solid victory over Alhambra in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, winning 28-17. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Alhambra's Beau Blau, who rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 233 yards on 18 of 27 attempts.
