Basketball Game Preview: Inman Inman Teutons vs. Marion Warriors

The Inman Inman Teutons will face off against the Marion Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Inman is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 59 points back in December of 2024, they were much more limited against Berean Academy on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Warriors, falling 48-20. The game marked the Inman Teutons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. The matchup between them and Bennington didn't end well, with Marion falling 58-43. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 87th).

Inman will have to contain Luke Wessel as he made an impact in Marion's last game. He posted 14 points.

Inman's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Marion, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Inman came up short against Marion in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 38-30. Can Inman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
