Volleyball Game Preview: Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons vs. Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional hasn't had much luck against Old Rochester Regional recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Falcons will head out to take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional came up short against Bishop Stang on Saturday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Old Rochester Regional got the win against Dartmouth on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won four in a row.

Old Rochester Regional's got stronger as the match went on, holding Dartmouth to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-14, 25-9.

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional better keep an eye on Kaitlyn Rodrigues. She was instrumental in Old Rochester Regional's win, getting seven digs and six aces. That's the most aces Rodrigues has posted since back in September of 2024.

Old Rochester Regional was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matchups.

Old Rochester Regional's record now sits at 11-2. As for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Old Rochester Regional in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
